Our freeze dried products are packaged in size specific mylar bags vs by product weight. The freeze drying process removes moisture from the items resulting in weight differences before and after. Example: a 2oz bag of freeze dried marshmallows does not actually weigh 2oz, but rather is packaged in a 2oz bag.
